I have actually thought for the first time that I am going off Corrie - never thought that would happen !! Not only because of the ridiculous Ted storyline, but because they are resurrecting another Daniel/vile Max/David storyline AGAIN !! So not interested in Max's vendetta against Daniel, I'll just whizz through it as I always record Corrie, but I find...

Craigs always been an awful copper! He's breached the code several times already with his "i shouldn't really tell you this, but...." conversations plus loads of other stuff, why has got a crisis of conscience now?

Absolutely spot on Burlyshirley, it’s like the writers have run out of ideas , why resurrect David being raped? And the Ted storyline along with Craig is from a mind of someone writing a fairytale
It is pretty dire. Saw something on daytime TV last week saying that the soaps are too serious these days. Hopefully we'll see more of Mary soon and her funny little quips.

Yes I saw that too, it was the actor who played Charlie Slater in Eastenders , he was so right in saying there’s no comedy in Soaps anymore

It would be such a shame after constantly pulling in millions of viewers every week for the last 61 years
I also think they think the are appealing to a younger audience as most of the storylines seem to involve youngsters whereas years ago it was the older mature residents who had the best storylines. (Or maybe I am just getting old!)
