Didn't realise (until last night) that the 7th, and final, season of Bosch was being aired. Watched 6 of the 8 episodes and will complete the series later today. Done a bit of Googling (didn't hurt, honest) and came across a couple of pieces that mentioned a spin off series in which a few of the main characters (incl Bosch and his daughter Maddie) involved.
Any fans of the Bosch novels will know that once he hands his badge in, that is not the end of Harry's investigations, so i am looking forward to more of the same:-)
I definitely missed your post on that thread, L-I-K, or i would have watched it on the same night:-)
While the first series of Bosch was based on 3 of Michael Connelly's novels, the fact he is one of the Executive Producers of the series ensures (for me at least) that the character of Bosch remains true to the novels.
I've tried reading Trunk Music a few times and despite liking the genre and the author, I just couldn't get into it.
Put it down to me being at fault for not being in the right mood, wouldn't mind watching but will have to twist Mr Alba's arm :-)
As we'll be looking for something to binge on very soon, I'll have another nag :-)
Just finished watching the last 2 episodes and, imho, they saved the best 'til last. Brilliant way to end. Really looking forward to Bosch; Legacy.
Alba, i'm a big fan of Stephen King and have read almost all he's ever written. However, i just cannot get into 'From A Buick 8', no matter what sort of mood i'm in. It may just be you've chosen the wrong book (book 6 in the Bosch series) to start. I'd try another Bosch novel. They really are a good, easy read.
