Jumping On The Bandwagon?

Just had an email from Sky informing me of increases in TV, broadband and telephone charges.

They apparently have something like 12.7 million subscribers in the UK and if all of them are on the same package as me, by no means top of the shop, it looks like they're bagging an extra £50million ish per month based on my increase of £4.50/month. Seems a tad profiteery to me, adopting a kind of 'well everybody else is at it' attitude.

I may be in the market for an aerial and recording device quite soon.

Am I partly or complete wrong or bang on?

Me and you both Douglas, I’m stuck in a contract with them but after 34 years with them, I’ll be saying Bye -bye Sky
Happening everywhere

Had an email last week telling me that from April my Odeon Limitless card will increase by £1 per month to cover inflation apparently
Sky are notorious for offering big discounts as soon as you say you are leaving. Try it, and turn down their first offer
They have a whole department for retentions, trying to stop you leaving.
It's probably in your Ts and C's that you can leave before the contract ends if informed of a price increase. Check it out.
Phone up and haggle.
They need the extra revenue to fund the inclusivity and diversity agenda that is proving to be so popular. I can't imagine what I did before I got the wimmins football, rugby and cricket scores non stop. Then there is the search and rescue teams out looking for distressed remainiacs and labour supporters. It all adds up you know.
