Sitting here watching and listening to the final Shadows concert in 2004 on Sky arts and haven't felt so relaxed for ages. I never liked Cliff Richard but loved the Shadows. The variety of their music has been so varied.

I once saw the Shadows live and went backstage to meet them. In particular, I wanted to speak to Hank Marvin, it was he, who opened the dressing room door and looked like a rabbit in headlights!

I wouldn't be watching if Cliff Richard was in it. He makes me squirm! To me he has a mediocre voice and no talent. And yet so many older ladies love him. He's creepy!!

I know I keep mentioning this, but my husband was a friend of Jet Harris. Very lovely man, and so good looking when he was young.
