She was told enough times that her Mum had a very short time to live but chose to ignore what everyone was telling her, it's sad but her choice I'm afraid
Sharon, why do you think the blames lies with Gary, he did his very best to get her to go and see her dying Mum ? I thought the final scene was brilliant, I'm afraid I cried along with her. I honestly thought she'd make it before her Mum died.
I think it would have been better if Gary had told Kelly the truth. Then at least she could have said good-bye properly to her mother. It is going to be interesting seeing how this storyline plays out now.
Shirley, if Gary had owned up and told the truth about Rick things would have been different. This young girl clearly believed her mum had killed her dad.
Ok thanks sharon, I didn't realise you meant that. To be fair to Gary though, he did want to confess, but Maria wouldn't let him, he was torn between her and Kelly.
But then he would have gone against a dying woman's wishes, left Kelly without guardians, ended up in prison unable to support his two children and left Liam without a father figure.
I stopped watching corrie for a while and when I resumed, Kelly was in it. I don't know her full back story but didn't she end up in care because of her parents? I think I remember watching right up until Gary killed her father then stopped.
