I watched him on Lorraine Kelly's show this morning and he seems such a nice young man. Level headed and he can actually sing. What a Christmas for him! I hope fame doesn't spoil him. Both he and Andy were very good but I think they chose the right one. What do you think?

I have to agree Maggie, I had a dream about Shayne last night, and I shall just say that I woke up in a good mood this morning ;-)

I watched the final over the weekend, and to be honest, would have been happy for either of them to win. I think had Shayne won, as he did, Andy would have a guaranteed career anyway, though had Andy won, perhaps Shayne would have been forgotten about so I'm pleased with the outcome.

I would buy both their albums when they come out :)

I was so pleased for both Shayne and Andy. The two of them were good and I am glad at the way it ended, though I had wanted Andy to win. I guess Andy's life won't remain the same after people have seen what he can do. I hope Brenda too gets something positive after the whole X-Factor episode. I am absolutely confident that Shayne will do very well and go places, provided he doesn't get lost in his newly acquired fame. I hope he manages the success very well. Good luck to him.
