Is it right that such a film should be banned from your possibility viewing it?

No, but the tail has been lacking a chance to wag the dog recently, maybe it's rediscovering the mission.
It's not right but intimidation is a powerful deterrent. Who wants to put themselves in the firing line unnecessarily?
"The 5Pillars review of the film was headlined: “Lady of Heaven: pure, unadulterated sectarian filth.”"

Well they're the experts in unadulterated filth after all. They've been proven very selective with their criticism over time though.
Hypocrisy rules as usual.
Demonstrators showing off their religious credentials before going back home to their drug dealing and grooming.

There is though, a fight-back starting against all this capitulation, & it is coming from a most unexpected part of the EU.
This 33mins talk by the excellent Rafe Heydel-Mankoo is really worth a gander, quite thought-provoking I think:

No, it is not right. We don't have blasphemy laws in this country and no section of society should be at liberty to impose them.

//we have made the decision to cancel upcoming screenings of the film nationwide to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.”//

If the protestors are deemed a threat to the security of staff and the public, they shouldn't be indulged - they should be arrested.
No surprise at the kow -towing to the protestors , that’s life as we know it here in Britain now unfortunately
load of old Pony, TROP doesn't like any sort of criticism.
If they aren't going to show it can't they just sell it to Channel 4 or some such ?

I'm afraid I'm coming round (& it's taken a while) to a similar view to that asserted by Rafe H.M. in the above video, that Boris isn't a Conservative at all, he's nothing but a "wishy-washy Liberal".
Khandro, I haven’t watched the video but what does this have to do with him?
. We don't have blasphemy laws in this country

oops a little correction needed here = usual load of inaccurate *** you read day in day out on AB

Blasphemy and blasphemous libel continue to be offences under the common law of Northern Ireland. On 5 November 2009, in the House of Lords, an amendment to the Coroners and Justice Bill was moved, which would have abolished these offences in Northern Ireland, but following a brief debate, the amendment was withdrawn
