Why are there never any for sale boards, even on properties that have been on the market for years?
I know for sale boards are used in France, Spain and Portugal

Perhaps the film crew take them down to get uncluttered views.

Never any people in the pool or communal areas, either
And look at those views!
Perhaps the estate agents don't want their names onscreen, that might encourage a lot of time wasters
I noticed the place is always empty

Some good suggestions
i think it's all a set up - i reckon people have already seen the places, or brought one, and then just "pretend" it's the first time they are seeing them
I'm not so sure Bednobs, My friend bought one and was on APITS , she now is living the dream
Question Author

i read a very interesting book (in small part) about someone who was on one of those sarah beeny programmes doing up their house, and how completely fake it all was

I'm not surprised
//Never any people in the pool//

Those communal pools are always freezing!
Question Author
dave, my sister lives in Spain and her communal pool is freezing, I thought I was having a heart attack when I dived in on a very hot day
Going back to the view thing for a second, I can stare at Danni Menzies for a very long time.

That's because I spend all my pool time in the very shallow end.
Another thing that is never mentioned when they tell thier budget is that the legal fees and taxes are apprx. 10% of the buying price.
Question Author
I'm sure the potential buyers are told all that sort of information during the early stages of the selection process. Also monthly/annual communal fees where relevant at some point during the viewing.
Lots of editing means we only see the, erm, highlights
