Just started watching Series 3 last night - binge watched series 1 and 2. It's set in Denmark and is subtitled. Talk about political intrigue! Recommend it highly on BBC iplayer.

Isn't there supposed to be a connection with Kinnock's daughter-in-law involved? Thanks for the reminder, I missed it the first time round, I have my next binge-fest sorted!
After an hiatus of about 9 years since Series 3, i watched series 4 recently. Almost - not quite - as good as the earlier days. Stick with it Maggie, you'll not be disappointed.
many thanks

Had a wee panic last night as I finished Series 3. Couldn't find Series 4, but discovered today it's on Netflix. Panic over!
Is the last one about oil in Greenland ?
Question Author
Not sure Khandro but maybe someone who has already watched it will get back to you.
Yes, it is, Khandro.

Not to be confused with the BBC drama State Of Happiness which is about oil in Norway. 2 seasons - also not bad.
Thanks, then I've seen it 'One thing that’s difficult to find in Denmark, I noticed on a recent visit to Copenhagen, is an EU flag. The red-and-white Danish flag (said to be the world’s oldest) is displayed everywhere, and Ukrainian flags are plentiful. But no sight of the blue and gold stars of the European Union. ‘EU flags are very rare – they play no role in the national narrative,’ said a senior parliamentary adviser, Nicolai Svejgaard Poulsen, at Borgen (the Christiansborg Palace from where the Danish government operates). ‘Danes have never been big fans of the EU. We don’t feel that emotionally attached.’
