Does anyone know why this brilliant series was never repeated or issued on video. Robbie Coltrane and Richard Wilson led a star studded cast in one of the finest and funniest comedy/dramas ever made.

3 years on and I posted virtually the same question but when shown this question  didn't bother to subscribe  -- but it hasn't really been answered  What ARE the reasons ? and has anything been changed? Will it ever be released?

dondons - I am still around but I can't remember what bobbobley's answer was. I think he must have told me it was repeated, but I obviously didn't see it. It may be worth asking the question again now, and see if there is any better info around. The membership has changed a lot since the original was posted. Glad to know there is another fan out there.

amazon are selling the DVD (= releasing it on August 3rd 2009) I have pre-ordered a copy . It's been YEARS since i asked a question about this and discovered these answers so i just hope this gets to you and that you are still interested!!
