I think that the one you mean is England 1914. Some of the words are "England my England". If you want any more info let me know and I'll listen to the record.

The song is called England and is from the album Water of Dreams , it is not England 1914 that is a totaly different song.The first two lines are

What is it about you, makes me feel this way?

When i'm leaving you, when i'm coming home

i'm lost for words to say.

the chorus is England oh england. It was played at the end of the tv prog with Billy Connolly touring the uk.
