If everyone who offered a view on anything on this site was required to be ab 'expert' before posting, the site would have died twenty years ago.
It's not necessary to know everything about anything in order to hold, and express, an opinion on it.
I am always delighted to bow to the superior knowledge of anyone who knows more about something than I do - assuming of course that they don't declaim that knowldge in a pompous schoolmarm'ish manner, which tends to lead me to conclude that they are actually only pretending to know something more than I, when they have no evidence whatsoever.
For example - i would never gainsay anything Buenchico said about computers, his record speaks for itself.
Nor would I take issue with Sqad on medical matters, since he is an ex-doctor.
Of course, on the more nebulous and less clearly defined areas like . ooooh .... let me see ... Islam for example, I am happy to bow to any proven expert on here, but have yet to encounter one.
