Captain Combover's Canadian accent isn't all that bad - after all, the actor who plays him is American. But as for the ridiculous storyline....
Looks like Teddy wont be enjoying his 'holiday' in The Lakes much LOL!
love the fact Audrey's driving to the peak district with her dead son body on the roof rack lol
or was it the lakes?
Teddy isn't Audrey's son, her son isn't dead.
Bobbi, I don't know why you keep watching the current episodes
I used to watch Corrie when it was watchable and maybe a wee bit realistic.Nowadays,nah.
Do you think that we've all got a problem? It's absolutely ridiculous rubbish and we don't expect anything else but we all keep watching it and can't wait for it to be over!!!!
I am amazed at the amount of Abers who watch this programme. I bet Richard Bucket nips down to local while Hyacinth is watching it , glad for an hours peace and quiet. haha.
Things could be worse - just wait until this one crosses the pond :-

Whattsup Gulliver? No one taking any notice of your Boris obsessions so you’ve wandered over here, welcome aboard, hope to see you take part in media/ tv regularly now ;0)
Oops, The penny has dropped.
Yes, the storyline with Stephen being a murderer is daft and even dafter with all the help he had getting the body on top of the car and then Audrey drove the car away! BUT I'm still a huge fan and won't miss it and it will be very satisfying when Stephen gets his comeuppance, just hope it doesn't take too long.

That’s another problem fd, they drag the storylines out
You can always watch 20-year-old episodes every weekday on ITV 2 after lunchtime. Emmerdale, too.
Question Author
Oh Gg, I’m a die-hard fan of Corrie who likes to let off steam about the more than stupid storylines and who, no matter what , will continue to do so since I’ve seen them all from Dec of 1961 :0)
And yes, I love the old ones when the Rovers had warmth about it, the squabbles on the cobbles ,the old actors all gone to the cobbles in the sky , love them all :0))
I wonder if the actors get repeat fees for the old episodes
Question Author
There’s not many left now but they might do ?
I’m a Tory voter
An avid Corrie fan
A proud Hyacinth Bucket type ( L like to see how the other half get by in a small cobbled street in Manchester)
I have been know to have a blue, even a pink rinse on my hair

And this is why Gulliver follows me around, he likes me ;0)
"........the public deserve better." As i've said many times, Bobs, the public continue to watch every episode of this dross so as long as that happens, the writers and execs believe the viewing figures are indicative of the plots and scripts. If folk gave up watc hing it for a month or two, maybe the penny would drop. As it is, the 'Corrienistas' (i've just invented a new word - will it catch on :-) ?) deserve what they get.
