This is a Netflix series. It involves the flame-haired Audrey Fleurot as one of the women. There are another three in an interwoven thread.

It is set in the Great War and follows the trials and tribulations of a quartet. One series has to be ( it is French) a maison d'occasion. Family thread

set in 1914 - Great - no trenches yet. A fluid battlefield where the French are threatened and Paris endangered. Lots of churches filled with the dead and dying....

well worth a vizeet.

et elle se promene mi-nue dans la serie
I think on Netflix the series is called Women at War.
We’ve just finished watching it, thoroughly enjoyed it, we’ll worth watching.

The American crits didnt like it - - SPOILERS --
They found the ending too formulaic
and there were certain tropes I wasnt sure if they understood. Parent finding child in a maison d'occasion is a short story of Alphonse Daudet innit? - also seen in Truffaud's Traffic ( 1968 ).
Creation of refugees - Belgian mainly, but why not in France?

Eleonore seems a redoutable battle-axe - like Dr Bovary's mother...

too many escapes from battle wounds.

Historical perspective -Poincare IS the president ( non executive) and HE gets shot after the war - - but the tourniquet ( much used in the Netflix prog ) is put on too low so he bleeds to death

serie limitee - but since one of the main players is dead, it seems difficult
I’ll look at that pp. thanks
We have just finished watching it. There is quite a bit of poetic licence but enjoyed it from an entertainment point of view (and lots of goodies/baddies to boot).

Is she really dead? I hope not, I would welcome another series.
ah, too late to record the death of President Faure. He thought he was Caesar but he was only Pompey.
