Yes it’s for her.
Himself says flowers but whilst she likes them I feel they are so meh!!
But in the past I have bought jewellery, cashmere, silk shirts, antiques and I have never seen them again!

She has bad excema apparently or so she has told us when we have bought her toiletries before.

JNO - have done that in the past but he forgot to send her anything and then I get it.

His mother, his shopping trip, how about a polonium teapot, or a nice spray of novichok....
Seriously though as she won't be happy with anything she gets how about buying a cow for someone in the third world via. Oxfam. Every year when you have to renew it... You can be justified in saying MIL.....cow when you remember.

our chemist does marmalade and jam for diabetics and iceland do low sugar biscuits ;i'm diabetic and eat them x

mally - we did that at christmas - we thought we had been successful until last week when she gave us food back saying she can't eat it - even though it said suitable for diabetics!

The thing that kills me is that in the 6 days we were there - she ate a large bar of chocolate, 4 custard tarts, apple shortcake and 2/3 of a victoria sandwich!!!
If your husband suggested flowers why not just do that. At least you know she likes them and you seem to have tried everything else

It looks like it will be flowers again!

It might give her a heart attack Gness - then again?

I just wanted to give her something different for a change.
We took her to Belgium for her 70th and her 80th but I can't go through that again.
Personalized photo frame with pic of you and hubby ...there again maybe not!
Maybe she would be happy with a handsome butler for the day at her beck and call?

We gave her one of them - a professional one taken at the palace when he received his MBE - she covered me up with a picture of herself!
