Rowan I have previously offered to drive her there myself!!
Yes it’s for her.
Himself says flowers but whilst she likes them I feel they are so meh!!
But in the past I have bought jewellery, cashmere, silk shirts, antiques and I have never seen them again!
His mother, his shopping trip, how about a polonium teapot, or a nice spray of novichok....
Seriously though as she won't be happy with anything she gets how about buying a cow for someone in the third world via. Oxfam. Every year when you have to renew it... You can be justified in saying MIL.....cow when you remember.
mally - we did that at christmas - we thought we had been successful until last week when she gave us food back saying she can't eat it - even though it said suitable for diabetics!
The thing that kills me is that in the 6 days we were there - she ate a large bar of chocolate, 4 custard tarts, apple shortcake and 2/3 of a victoria sandwich!!!
Personalized photo frame with pic of you and hubby ...there again maybe not!
Maybe she would be happy with a handsome butler for the day at her beck and call?
We gave her one of them - a professional one taken at the palace when he received his MBE - she covered me up with a picture of herself!
No word of a lie!
