There is a black and white film set in the 1960s. The scene I remember is a single mum pushing a pram with a another small child on a railway platform. Police and social services come and take the kids off her and she screams at them. What is the film called please?

Cathy Come Home?
Was it Cathy Come Home?
Poor Cow?
Poor cow? Ken Loach film 1967
Pipped at the post!
I think it is most likely Cathy Come Home. I believe there is only one child in Poor Cow.
Interesting that Carol White was the star in both suggestions.
Those 'Kitchen Sink' dramas were quite powerful films in their day. Up The Junction and A Taste Of Honey were two more i recall watching.
Not a kitchen sink drama but I loved 'Whistle Down the Wind.'

Filmed in and around my 'patch' Tilly. Fell in love with Miss Mills, when i watched it as a young lad (6 or 7 year old) :-)
So did I, Ken.:-)
They don’t make ‘em like that any more ….
