E4 and Friends...

..does anyone know why E4 are incapable of showing Friends sequentually - starting at series 1 and continuing straight through to series 10. I regularly watch the 5-6pm slot and am going mad watching the same episodes over and over and over again - whilst never having seen any episodes from series 2 and 3....?! A few weeks ago they started with series 1 and then lept straight to series 4....!

I find it annoying on ch4 as I've only gotten into "friends" in the last year. I think it's to avoid home taping. It gets confusing at times though jumping from one series to another.

There are certain episodes i wont watch on E4 because of the censoring that is done to them. One episode where Joey finds Rachels erotic book just does not make sense after being "doctored" the laughs are in the wrong place and everything.

I would imagine that the DVDs are a bit cheaper after Xmas.

I think it is great, it is like the line from Forrest Gump, 'Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get'. It is just great to turn it on and know it is one you have seen and wait for your favourite scene from a particular episode.

couldn't agree withyou more - not only can't they show series sequentially - they can't even show episodes sequentially or they miss out the episode you don't have - I have never seen the episodes when chandler and joey fell out and eddy moved in shown together - they always miss one out - and it's the same one when joey gets canned - it drove me so nuts I don't watch it now I would just but the DVD of that series
