I didn't notice that but the costumes and dancing, on the whole, were excellent again. I'm really enjoying this series - but then I enjoy them all!

I can't agree with the OP, but I can agree with Naomi & roopower.  The costume, hair & make-up depts worked their magic again 😈

I'm also enjoying it, it spite of not knowing who half the dancers were.

Angela Rippon lost out when they did her costume though.

My only gripe is I don't think it's fair to have a trained dancer who's been in in West End musicals competing.

They're good dancers, pasta, but two men dancing together looks weird to me - even if one is dressed up as a woman.  Apart from that, Rizzo wouldn't be seen dead in the skirt he had on the other week to pass himself off as a Pink Lady.  ;o)

Naomi I agree.  Layton is a trained professional dancer and has been in many stage musicals.  Why on earth was he allowed to enter the competition?  Hopefully viewers votes will go elsewhere in the final.

Ok Krishnan looked like Cliff..  but he looked good!  Don't know what happened to Angela Rippon, and what was that awful wig her partner was wearing, who was he supposed to be ?

Rumours that she didn't get on with Giovanni, my guess that she didn't like being told what to do . Thought it was very strange that put out a statement thanking everyone one the show but neglected to mention Giovanni

Go to any dance school in the country and you will see the same sex dancing together.

Same sex dancing is  common world wide it seems to just be ballroom dancing that people don't like to see it.   I went to all girls school where I always had to dance as a boy and lead in ballroom dancing because I was tall .  My parents were excellent dancers and when I danced with Dad I found it difficult to dance in the right hold.

People seem to find elderly ladies dancing together when there's a shortage of male partners.  I've never seen elderly men ballroom dancing together.

But the male couple this year is amazing to watch.  And that's what matters.  It doesn't look wrong at all, but I would prefer to see Leyton  not dressed as a female.  I can't see the point.

And to be honest I don't see it as a competition, I see it as lovely entertainment.
