Beckham On Netflix

Watched the first episode last night....rather good, even Mrs K liked it & football isn't her thing at all.

Some great goals & a human story, even his mum & grandma make appearances! 

Anyone else watched it yet?

I tried but switched it off.  It didn't hold my attention.

I felt the same for the first few minutes, but persevered and I'm glad I did.

I think it's hard to dislike our David.

I like him, Khandro.  Perhaps I'll give it another go.  I think the football put me off - but in a programme about David Beckham I don't know what I expected really.  ;o)

Watched ep.2 last night. I'm not a football enthusiast, least of all am I interested in fooballers lives, but I was shocked (to near tears) to see how unfairly he and she were treated by a barbaric element of the public, I had no idea that this had happened.

In fact, watching it, I felt for the first time ashamed to be British.

We watched the 4th, final episode last night, it's been very good, highly recommended.

I enjoyed it too. Victoria comes a cross as a different person to the one so often portrayed in the newspapers
