Yes, I know, it's a sad person who asks what happened at the end of an episode, but we recorded Doc Martin tonight and it must have run late coz we lost the end (thought Sky+ allowed for that, but it hasn't).

Last scene was 'the morning after' and Louise had just told the Doc that she loved him. What happened next???

Louisa came to see Martin the morning after to give him some hangover pills, she said she loved him too, he looked suprised she should say such a thing and launched into a long medical type speech about her obsession with a him so on and so on, gave the medical name for it, the camera pulled away from them and showed the whole bay, you could still hear them in the background then her a slapping sound (she must have slapped his face in exasperation).

I have Sky+ too and it doesn't allow for something tarting late which is a pain as I recorded Taggart the other night and the same thing happened - it also happens if you tape two things following each other as you get the end of the first thing on the start of the next - just to warn you about that too.

You can tell your Sky+ to allow an extra amount of time at the end of the program - can't remember how to do it though!

And we'll look at 'allowing' Sky+ a few minutes extra when it's crucial - however that's defined when it's only TV!!
