Whats the film?

Hi everyone im posting this question on behalf of my friend who is too lazy to sign up lol.

There is a film she is thinking of or at least she thinks its a film it could be a programme/drama. She seen it quite a few years ago on tv. All she remembers is a woman lying on a table and she thinks there was people holding her down and a man was raping her or something. She also thinks they were in 'period dress' as she says. Sorry this is so vague but its all she remembers. Thanks in advance!

Could it be The Accused with Jodie Foster - although that wouldn't have been in period dress?

Was it "Rob Roy"? In the film, his wife was was raped lying face down on a table, crime perpetrated by the wicked english baddie. They were , of course in period dress.

Shes not sure if its that or not either lol. She definetly remembers a scene of a woman being held down on a table and having sex with her. She had this big period dress on as well. Is that in Miss Julie??

I vaguely remember a kitchen table and certainly a big period dress worn by Ms Burrows. Why not check IMDB?

Dont think it was a kitchen table. It was in this huuge house or something. it was on like a big big table in a huge room. it was quite dark like the way they used to be in period times. She apologises once again for being such a pain. lol
