There were very very few where I didn't make a mistake because, unlike others, I am a mere mortal. My last lesson before Study Leave was always on How to Lose Marks Under Pressure, eg 1 x 1 =2 !
When I was about 17, I was on a live radio quiz. I was meant to cover history. The questions were not difficult and well within my knowledge. However, the moment we went live, my brain turned to porridge. Made a real hash of it. I'd probably cope with the pressure now but it was quite disturbing how an inexplicable fog came down and made me talk nonsense.
