Judge John Deed

Does anybody have the same opinion as me that this series is one of the best written series on the beeb,Martin Shaw has become a very good actor over the years and carries off the judge very well.A very good drama.

No GSM, sorry, but I don't think it's a very good series. There are just so many ridiculous relationships between people who then happen to face each other in court.

I accept some of my prejudice may be against Martin Shaw, who would like to be considered an outstanding actor, but doesn't have the emotional depth to interest me.

By the way, if you're interested, he is performing in 'A Man For All Seasons' at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket in London SW1 playing Sir Thomas More and gets very good write ups from The Independent, The Telegraph and The Guardian, which probably tells you how much attention you should pay to my opinion. :-)

Anytime JJD is mentioned I just think of Harry Hill yawning in a very exaggerated manner which he did on his TV Burp show and start giggling to myself.
