Just watching my grandson  eating his dinner .

Brings to mind  when I were a kid and used to leave till last the favourite bit of a meal , to savour .

Were you the same ?

Oh absolutely!

You eat the OK stuff and the yuckies and treat yourself at the end.

No, ate the best first then got my brothers to eat the yucky stuff (they were not allowed to leave the table until I had finished)

Yes, I think I did.  Something I still do (almost without thinking) is have some of everything that was on the plate remaining for the last mouthful.

No, ate all my meat first and then asked for more so's I could eat my veggies.

The best bit should always be left until last, irrespective of one's age!

I actually still do it now on Sundays  .

For example on Sundays , er indoors in her wisdom cooks me cauliflower and broccoli as part of dinner . I don't like either , so i get  rid of those first and then unto the rest of the meal

By the way she cooks sprouts for herself ( the devil's food )

How did you recall that post from 2009?

By the way - loo roll should always dispense over the roll and not under 🙂

Not me. I ate whatever was put in front of me. Not in any specific order. I was told take what you eat, and eat what you take. Always a clean plate.
