Unless there were any yeaterday (figures no yet available) there has been none since 22nd January.

It has been a tad breezy in the Straits of Dover.

Don't fret. The crossings will resume once the weather calms down and they will be reported on the telly. That is, once the news  producers think we've seem enough of the gigantic demolition site that is Gaza. and the weekly dribble of three or four released Israeli hostages.

I suspect the RNLI ferry service and border farce are taking the time to get larger boats so they can ferry more of them to Dover.

As successive governments have said no one that comes to the UK illegally by boat will be allowed to stay, how come up to the end of the year ending September 2024 66% of those that did come in that way were awarded asylum.  Say one thing and do another comes to mind.

Oh, I thought this was about Russia.
