When he was on celebrity juice or the morning programmes I thought he was a complete idiot.
But on Family fortunes I thought he was great.
I think we are in the height of cancel culture, but its spreading like a cancer, and before long there won't be any presenters left.
This country isn't happy unless its destroying someone.
Its pure jealousy is what it is.
We can't stand to see someone become successful.
I think you're right, Quenched. The powers that be in TV, seem to build them up then knock them down! If they were that concerned about certain celebrities behaviour/vile talk with women, it should have been nipped in the bud. Is it about saving money, as well as jealousy?? It's horrible what's happening.
That's the trouble.....
The popularity/ratings-uptick of any given presenter usually means that things are left-to-lie rather than nipped in the bud.
And it is not until the complaints reach critical mass that the bosses decide to take any action. At which point it looks like an orchestrated 'pile on' of complaints when, actually, most of the complaints have been lingering in the background for years.
