A new detective series started last night, anyone see it?

I nearly gave up after ten minutes but OH wanted to continue watching, so we did. I actually really enjoyed it once I got into it properly, something a bit different to the usual cops and robbers.

Question Author

BBC 1 Sandy. He's a British born Hindi detective, married to a Muslim lady so there's conflict in his private life, as well as all that goes on in his professional life, set in Bradford. As I say, just a bit different, worth a go.

I read your mind before you even posted Alba 😵‍💫

Thanks! Will give that a look at soonish x

Am glad my mind was reasonably clean and tidy.

Can't say that too often :))

i have been watching unfogotten on itvx, which is great

Snap bednobs, I love Unforgotten. Virdee os on my list for afterward.

We turned it off after after 10 minutes, just didn't grab us. So we switched to itvx, to watch third episode of Unforgotten, which never disappoints. Might give Virdee another try later.

Quite enjoyed this first episode.  Will carry on watching.  I love Unforgotten.  It's good when all the different people in it connect and I could listen to the theme tune over and over.

Vagus - Harry Virdee isn't a Hindi detective, he's Sikh.  This is an important part of the story: didn't you notice his father was wearing a turban?!

Brainiac, oh boy! That'll add to the marital difficulties!

Thanks to others for Unforgotten, we'll be looking for something to start watching in a day or so. :)
