Good Morning Sunday Birds!
Well what have I missed in the last few days? iPad went off to be repaired and it's the only thing I go on AB with - I could have tried to log into it on my fone but the last time I tried that I was locked out permanently and ended up having to rejoin under a different name so thought best not do that lol. Anything exciting happen? Any interesting news?? Sunshine is out at mo and looking hopeful for an hour or so in the garden......so Happy Sunday everyone!

Sun out here as well, but only zero at the moment, hopefully get out for some exercise later. Looks like Mr U is well on the road to recovery at long last.
We went to a Paul Jones concert last week which was brilliant, so impressed with the backing group we have bought tickets to see them doing a Stevie Wonder night in May,
Good morning Smow and everyone. Nothing exciting from me just a lazy day again last couple however all jobs around my abode are mostly done probably watch the league cup final this afternoon L'pool v Newcastle being as I'm a Man United fan (Play this evening) think I'll become a Geordie boy for a couple of hours this afternoon.😉
Wether wise very dark clouds oop here in West Yorkshire however the Sun is trying to overcome its shyness and peaking through a little bit at a time. Darn cold though
Have a lovely day folks whatever she may bring you.
Morning ubasses - oh I didn't see DDIL's thread, how lovely : ). That's excellent news about Mr U on the mend - you must be very relieved. The concert sounded good - was it far from home?
Morning Arky - ohh another Man Utd fan! MrSmow is an avid fan & it's become quite fascinating lately as watching them playing on TV in their current 'Performance' somehow transforms this well spoken articulate businessman into a frustrated sulky teenager shouting very rude words at the screen!! (And that's me toning it down lol)
The concert was at one of the hotels in town, took us about 30 minutes to walk there. Two of the local hotels host these blues and jazz concerts for the local jazz club.
I am going to have to suffer football this afternoon, fortunately not on the box but Mr U will be listening to the clubs commentator on his computer. He is an avid lifelong Fulham fan, he was born and lived in Hammersmith till he was 6, and his dad took him to most of the home games when he was 8.
Think all the regulars must have gone out for the day! Just got back from our 2 mile hilly walk, down to and along the coast then back up through the woodland trails. Mr U didn't have to sit on a bench once, so think we can do some of the longer ones again.
A 30 minute walk down to the concert is a stroll. We have always been walkers, often walked 10 miles of a coastal path or up in the lakes.
