about 7 years ago i saw a trailer that was coming on at the pictures and i am sure it was mel gibson hitching a ride down a lonely american road and then something happens to him. nobody knows what i am talking about. please help me. many thanks.

thankyou but it wasnt any of those last 2, but i looked at the link and the one thats closest is ransom but i am still not 100% sure about this. thankyou both anyway.

No it wasn't Ransom.That was set in the City, might be Conspiracy Theory? No, can't think of such a scene in that, nor Payback. Million Dollar Hotel neither, oh, was it Bird On The Wire? Nope, still coming back to Mad Max.

no it wasnt any of those either and it definately isnt mad max. i am now wondering if it was mel gibson at all and instead someone else. all i do know was that it was out about 7ish years ago and the trailer i saw was of a man hitching a lift and a (i think it was a lorry) picked him up. hopefully i might remember who the actor was soon!

Was it not the one about the hithchiker being picked up but then not remembereing properly who he was, or why he had been on that road? Yeah, I know this one, it turns out he took the ID of someone killed in a blazing car
