80's cartoon film

ok i can remember this film but cant remember its name just wondering if anyone else knows it

the film was about a trio of cops who each had a robot assistant the three robots were blue, pink and green. the plot was that some robber/terroists had stolen a state of the art tank and use it to steal things. the robbers are cought but the tank has been programed to escape and with one of the police trapped inside the military decide to destroy the tank to stop it getting into the wrong hands.

any help on the name would be useful because its doing my head in :)
