Have you noticed that the audience doesn't actually seem to exist? You never see them and the laughter seems to be switched on and off with such a severe cut off that wouldn't happen with a live audience - there's always some moron who laughs or claps when the others have finished. This was the same when Jo Brand did the show too.

I think there are lots of shows like this, which I find a right turn off. I think the same applies to "you've been framed", "animals do the funniest things" and similar shows where it is just a presenter and film clips.
Yes I think it's very annoying ! Do "they" think we are incapable of laughing of our own accord ?,or do they have so little faith in the content of the programmes concerned ?
I actually was on a quiz show where half the set didn't exist. It was a computer graphic that was added on later! That show also had canned applause & laughter.
