Are the TV shows Airport & Airline filmed in a studio? If so it would have to be a very big place, or are the aeroplanes created with special effects.

Only ever seen it advertised but correct me if im wrong, arent they documentary style programmes about the airport itself and stuff which happens there, in which case i presume that no they arent filmed instudios but actual airports.
eh?? they are docu-soaps casaespana. nowt so strange as the public....
am i missing somethin??
This is how they do it:
they only employ very very small people to star in the show so they save money on the model planes which dont have to be as big. They also place them a long way from the planes so they look a lot bigger than they really are. They actually use the Big Brother studio when its not being used for BB and the shots where you see the planes taking off are inside the Millenium Dome.
I had a summer job painting clouds on the inside of the Dome - thats how i know.

A lot of the flights take off at night gary. Did you do the stars as well?
No - my area of expertise are clouds. Have you seen The Aviator with leanardo di caprio? I did a lot of the clouds for that. Some of my finest work i like to think.
I started off my career on stars but got bored after the first 75 trillion and wanted to stretch myself artistically.
