I know she has to be nice and impartial, but she seemed to be allowing him to think everything was fine for him except for his political opponents. she barely mentioned his bullying of jodie and barely pulled him on his behaviour.
why didn't they replay more of his nastiest bits and shown him what most of the public think of him?
i know they will brief him with real feeling of the public off camera but i'd like to have seen his face fall and see how he tried to justify it.
he is in for rude awakening.
He also shouldn't have told davina where he was going tonight - brick lane, i think he said - loads of yobs or whatever may follow him there, just to have a go!

She ums her way everything and she always looks uncomfortable with the more tricky characters. I'd like to see Channel 4 bring someone in with a quick tongue to deal with these people and gring them down a peg or four. If they did, I'd look forward to Pete's exit interview with great interest...
I wholeheartedly agree with milly. She had been well briefed not to give him a platform by BB-kind of lulling him into a false sense of security. They gently took the p and he was speechless when the headlines were shown.
You see if she were attempting to be a Paxman he would have probably made mincemeat of her as she is a light weight commentator/interviewer.
I thought it was very subtle.
that's true - he'd have run rings round her. Although she did sort of give makosi a hard time... though i suppose makosi isn't a politician...
they should get russel brand to join her and help her when she's out of her depth - he's quite clever and quick witted and not afraid to say what he thinks - they could be like good cop bad cop!
Oh dear I appear to have the knack in saying the wrong word pootle.
Did you almost choke when you were typing subtle:)
She was going to be potentially out of her depth so the interview had to take on a different slant in order they could both get through it.Hence the word subtle in BB (not just Davinas) approach.
I am still loving it.(please note I am only typing for myself). If you have a differing opinion please dont bring me into it unless its funny and nice:)
