According to a trivia link on IMDb ....




Quincy's first name is never revealed, but his first initial is. In the episode "Accomplice To Murder" (Season 3, episode 16) Quincy gives his business card to a woman, and his name is shown as Dr R Quincy. Jack Klugman says the most common question he gets asked by fans is "What's Quincy's first name?", to which he always answers..."Doctor!"

the cast list for Quincy doesn't even give his name - it's simply - Dr. R. Quincy, M.E.
