In the Back to the Future trilogy they kept banging on, on how a paradox could destroy the universe. Eg if Marty never got his parents back togethter he would of never of been boorn, do he would of never gone back to split them.
But in Back to the future 2 Old Biff steals the sports thing goes back in time gives it to young biff and then he vanishes from exsistance when he gets back (it was the extras in the box set) this is because time changed around him. But according to a paper the Doc got commited therefore never building the time machine so old Biff could of never of gone back- a paradox and the universe wasn't destroyed, o well maybe i'm looking too much into this

there are no flaws in the logical sequencial episodic logic of this trilogy , only in the mental capacity of us mere mortals ability to fathom it. (I think)

Yes but the paper was from an alternate time reality so therefore the time machine was already built - when Doc Brown got commited it was in the alternate reality so didn't get affected by the Sports Almanac story line

Back to the Future goes with single universe/reality theory me thinks, i know in Stargate they say if you change something you create a new reality
