I just watched the movie on DVD and I could have sworn that when I last watched the film, Leo McKern, who plays Bugenhagen, the archaeologist, had a scene where he died due to a cave-in, presumably caused by the Devil, after giving the knives to Gregory Peck.
But this scene wasn't in the film I watched last night.
Anybody know why this scene was deleted?
