We are reminicing about our favourite tv programs as a child, does anyone remember Maxies World??

My favourites were:

  • Trapdoor
  • Denver the last dinosaur
  • Rude dog & the dweebs
  • The Racoons
  • Superted
  • Jimbo
  • Duckula
  • Bertha
  • Simon and the witch

Kids are so deprived these days, any links for Maxies World would definately be appreciated, to prove it actually existed!!!

My favourite programme was Round the Bend with Doc Croc in it, but nobody seems to remember it.
Marmelade atkins

The original Tom and Jerry cartoons

The Pipkins (I think) with Hartley Hare

Mary Mungo and Midge

Rent a Ghost

I loved Trapdoor as a kid so much that i bought the DVD set, but it was pretty disappointing. Some things are better left in the past I guess. On the other hand, my flatmate got the Bertha DVD and it's unintentionally hilarious, and well worth repeated viewings, especially if you might be indulging in (cough cough) certain substances.

Trojantarce it was either "Inigo Pipkin" or "Pipkins" ( no The ) .

Pipkins,Mary Mungo & Midge, all the 'Trumpton' series, Andy Pandy, Magic Roundabout, The Wombles, Banana Splits, Robinson Crusoe & all those badly dubbed summer holiday shows ;o) All of those were in my very young days.

As an older child I loved Grange Hill, Armchair Thriller, The Goodies..list is endless!

Does anyone remember Paulus the Woodgnome?

Mine were:

  • Dr Sunggles

  • The Raccoons

  • Fantastic Max

  • Moondreamers

  • Gummi Bears

  • Charlie Chalk

  • Family Ness

  • Penny Crayon

  • Thundercats

  • The Wuzzles

  • The Bluffers

  • The Lil Bits (no-body seems to remember that though)

(I rember round the bend by the way, it went down a toilet at the start but I didn't like it that much, the croc hang coming up a loo scared me)

...Ooh, this is good one! Does anyone remember 'David the Gnome'? (Please say you do!)
...The Family Ness, The Shoe People, Henry's Cat and Moschops!! I wish I was little again.

James the Cat and Alfred J Cwak

And Kissifer!

I remember David the Gnome, he used to travel by fox!! i loved Pigeon Street, Button Moon, Dungeons & Dragons, Godzilla, The A Team, there are sooo many!! xx
I loved Rentaghost, The Adventure Game, Rhubarb and Custard, Chorlton and the Wheelies and Grange Hill. in my teens, I developed a strange compulsion for Stop it and Tidy-up. Anyone remember this? It'd be probablymid to late eighties, on BBC1. They lived in the land of DoAsYourTold with all their similarly named friends (eg BeeHave and BeeQuiet). Voiced by Terry Wogan, I thought it was utterlly fantastic.

I remember that Kick3m0n! I liked the theme tune though I can't remember how it goes now.

Dungeons and Dragons
The A Team
Knightrider
Streethawk
Automan (does anyone remember this?)
Jamie and the Magic Torch
Danger Mouse

To name but a few. Definitely not Blue Peter or John Craven's Newsround!
Oh, I remeber StopIt and TidyUp... big red thing made a stupid noise... a friend and I loved it. Made us laugh our socks off! Not sure why... just that sound the red one made...
