Can any one tell me the name (fiction or real) of that new detective that appears in some episodes (2 last seasons I think). It's not Brass.

There's a few "other" policemen, but my guess is that you mean Detective Vartann, played by Alex Carter. He was also in "Point Pleasant" as the sherriff.

He was also in a series on the SciFi Channel with Arnold Vosloo (the Mummy), playing a sort of Indiana Jones type looking for lost artifacts. It didn't even run a season, which was a pity as it was good.
