what HAS he been in?

on IMDB it says he's had loads of bit parts, but he seems so familiar, like he's played a well known character. It also says he's got two brothers who are also actors. Maybe i'm thinking of one of them?

The thing I remember him for is the House of Cards trilogy. He played Corder, the security/MI5 type to Ian Richardson's Francis Urquhart.

I always remember him being on an advert in the 70's. I don't know if it was for schools, maybe just on normal telly - it was a safety advert and he was doing some drilling in a house or something. I always thought he looked a bit like Frankensteins monster!
