i have not watched EE for a while now and a couple of days ago i settled down to watch TV.

i turned EE on,it made me squirm to the bone with its stupidity, is it me or is it now totally Unwatchable?

It's load of sh1t designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator. All the soaps are competing for viewers by using ever more ridiculous story lines in order to retain their captured chavs, utter trash the lot. They' ve even turned The Bill into a soap now, it used to be a reasonable cop show with self contained stories.

Cannot disagree with those sentiments. i last watched it over christmas, i've noticed they always seem to have a death just as the clock strikes 12 on new years eve..all soaps are trash punctuated by poor acting and even worse scripts and unbelievable plots...eastenders is worse because its also miserable and depressing..

What worries me more than the outrageous plots and characters is how poor the acting has become, as mentioned below. It amazes me how the Pauline lady still cannot act. She has been in tv most of her life yet has learnt nothing. Some of the youngsters are the best out there; the 2 new ones at Pat's house outshine a lot of them (she must have learned her craft well in those Crunchy Nut ads..)

Yep and I cannot stand deano�s family. Deano on his own was fine but his father just isn�t funny and Carly is a moaning Bi-atch. If I were pat I�d kick them out, how many bedrooms does her house have?? And Pauline should have kicked that tramp looking bloke out too.

What amazes me is that you are questioning the fact that it has become unwatchable NOW! I'm not quite sure how this has escaped your, and to be fair millions of other peoples attention but it has always been moronic drivel. I cannot understand why people pay large amounts of money to keep the lower orders out of their houses by having front doors, only to invite them in via the idiots lantern! I bet you like Dan Brown novels but feel he's gone a bit silly recently. Give me strength!

perhaps rugeleyboy is feeling, as I am, that towards the end of last year it all started to look hopeful again (mainly due to Phil and Grant being back on the scene and Sharon having resurrected her acting skills). It's just all gone to pot again.

when phil and grant returned it was a bit silly, if your mom was getting beaten up why send the family idiot out to break it up while you watched from your car!!

however, i then thought i will watch this for a bit but couldnt get into it, after a while (the past 7 days) i thought i would give it another chance (because american chopper is on at the same time and i have now seen them all) but its complete unreality with weak characters and even weeker stories, sorry to be rude but i really want someone to get stacy all hot and steamy in the portakabin.... not bl**dy pat butcher!!.
