We been having this discussion at work,don't know why but who do you think was the best back then?....Freddy kruger,jason voorhies or michael myers?I'd say freddy cos i named my dog after him!

definitely freddy.

all were scary but freddy was interesting too - the whole history of him, his powers, the sleep thing everything - the others seemed to just be killers who couldn't be killed or stopped...an almost android quality.

incidentally, i heard that michael myers mask was actually a mask of william shatner, painted white with the eyeholes cut bigger.

If we can ignore the awful sequels I'd say Freddy otherwise i'd say Jason. Just because Freddy became a bit of a joke after the brilliant first film.

Freddy.. the best film was freddy 3 Dream Warriors IMO
