Did you see The Royal last night ? How horrific was the scene showing Meryl being hit by the car !!! Was really sad when she died. I've hardly ever watched this prog but I think I've changed my mind about it now.

The scene when Meryl was hit must rank as one of the most dramatic in recent television history. It came without warning and even though we know it is fiction it must have caused a few hearts to flutter.
