Any ideas on the film title......

Fairly old, about 15 years or maybe more - plot goes:

US army plane crashlands in the desert with maybe 6/8 people on board. They wait to be rescued, but one by one they try to go for help. Each only gets so far before perishing. Eventually the rescue team arrives (i.e. the US army jeeps) and finds the bodies of the various passengers, burying them with full religious funereal honours. All except the pilot who was never found and therefore never buried. He was left alone with an spirit not at rest and no other wandering spirits for company.

Bit obscure, I know, but I have great faith is you guys out there........
