can anyone out there settle an argument for me, i think it was called the royal cinema. then locals nicknamed it the new royal am i right on this one. it was situated on ashton new road bradford manchester.

There was only one cinema on Ashton New road called The Royal.

There was a Royal Cinema in Manchester city centre so perhaps locals called the Bradford one 'new' to make the distinction. There was no cinema officially called the New Royal.
