Mo is supposed to be 70 & Charlie 65 so his wife was obviously a fair bit younger than him.

I don't like EE much anymore but I have wondered how old some of them are supposed to be. I can't believe that little Mo is only 29! (35 in real life) must be all that frowning she does!

Well, the actress Laila Morse who plays Mo was born in 1936, so was seventy this year. In real life, she is the elder sister of actor, Gary Oldman.

Laila Morse ( Big Mo ) was born on Aug 1st 1945 making her 61 later this year, Derek Martin ( Charlie Slater ) was born April 11th 1933 so will be 73 in a couple of weeks, if i didn't know better i would have said it was the other way round.

I stand corrected surreyman. I made the mistake of reading the character profile on the BBC site. Laila Morse was indeed born in 1945. God, I hope she doesn't come looking for me after ageing her by nine years. Help!!!!
