Does anyone know if El CID is available on DVD or VHS. It was a detective series set in Spain with Alfred Molina and John Bird. If you have any info or memories, please reply...

According to the BBFC http://www.bbfc.co.uk/search/index.php that programme has not had a classification by them, therefore it hasn't been realised as ALL videos/DVD's have to have a classification from them.

Thanks for that, will keep looking though...
Men & Motors (Freeview, Satellite) are starting to broadcast the series starting tonight (Tuesday 4th April) at 22.00hrs. Repeat at 6pm tomorrow

Owned the Boat featured in EL CID and worked on both series, was interested to see series again on Men and Motors last night.

argentum...thanks for letting me know the series started a re-run last night.

J.B. Must have been brilliant, what did you do on the series and did you own the boat before or after the programme, my interest is that I have a house in that part of the world. Recognised Puerto Banus last night, where else was the series filmed?

I had the pleasure of filming most of the second series of El C.I.D. staring the wonderful Alfred Molina and the late John Bird who unfortunately died 24 December 2022.
The cast and crew were based in Fuengirola where we shot the majority of all the episodes.
