Phil tells Gail he wants to clear the air but Gail seems intent on avoiding any kind of confrontation and tells him, 'I am trying to feed my family. I have made a pie.' Phil tells her, 'It's a pie! It will keep! All I am asking for is some honesty.' David comments, 'I'll be honest... I want some pie!' Gail tells Phil they can talk after they have had their pudding, cleared the table and washed up. Phil snorts, 'And than you'll just find another excuse to avoid the issue!' Gail brings the discussion to an end with a final, 'I'll get the custard!'
