My Top Five Must Be:

'Crash' in 2005, Recent but definately one which will be marked down in history!

'The Hours' Starring Julianne Moore, Merl Streep, and Nicole Kidman, an amazing film from a feminist perspective.

'The Matrix' Trilogy as it made such an impact on the way we all view the world sad but true huh, also extremely interesting from the christian perspective.

'Lord of the Rings' visually thrilling all the makings of an amazing action adventure!(if you like this film read 'The Hobbit')

'A Very Long Engagement' Random But the frenchness and romance of this film awakes an odd femininity in me!Plus Audrea Tatou is an amazing actress, check out some of her other films, extremely interesting if you don't mind reading subtitles!

Then 'E.T' was voted the best Kids film ever.

Just some ideas...will stop ranting about films now!

I have no doubt that it's not the most technically brilliant film, and no-one won an Oscar etc, but the one film that I always go back to and can't get enough of, is Garden State. If I'm basing 'best' films on how much I like them, then it's definitely number one.

Well done Litchick, at last someone has mentioned Jaws. Great script, fantastic acting and the most memorable monster in movie history. Does anyone remember how BIG this film was when it came out? It didnt just have a couple of weeks showing. This film was hot for months! Filmgoers now could not comprehend the impact this movie made, the first blockbuster. This is the greates movie ever made.
