DVD Regions

I want to buy a DVD but its only available on a region 1 format. How do i check if i can watch it on my dvd or computer?

there are various web sites that offer tips on the codes you need to change regions on your DVD player.

Do a Google search on "DVD player hack" and you should find a few sites. If you have a make and type of DVD player in mind, search the site to see if there are the codes you need to change regions.

I bought my player about 5 years ago, it was the cheapest on the market at the time. All I do is press the "set-up" button on the remote, and then a few buttons on the machine itself to find a hidden menu, then skroll down to the region I want. Different makes of machine will have different ways of gaining access to the hidden menu.

For �17 you can by a multi region player on Amazon, just plug it in and it work straight away, it's tiny so you could just use on R1 disks, best thing i did buying a Multi Region player have bought loads of R1 disks..
