Will the BBC survive the switch over in 2012?Will we have to fork out more money for a licence?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Yes and Yes. they will survive the change without doubt. as for extra money for a licence, i think it will go up but they may do a 'teired' payment option as sky do for the monthly subscription, although the bbc will be annual. keep a close eye on them though as they will slowly become a commercial broadcaster before our eyes. it's already happening on freeview, the bbc use advertising to get revenue on the uktv channels that they co own with flextech, they also advertise on the world service. i now live in new zealand and i will never complain about the bbc again, they are without doubt the best broadcaster in the world and every other broadcaster on the planet looks to them for inspiration and ideas as well as buying shows from them.
